Rhodochrosite Spiral Earrings

A hand-hammered goldfilled spiral curls at the top of each earring, and below it hangs a faceted rhodochrosite teardrop, wrapped in 14K goldfilled wire. Its pink is veined and flecked with deep earthy brown, and each stone carries its own markings. Fine goldfilled chains fall far below the stone, each one dotted with a tiny bead: glinting pyrite, warm cat’s eye, and a small pink spinel at the very end. They sway and catch the light with every step. Long enough to graze your shoulders and make the statement piece of your outfit, yet light and easy to wear all day. ~5.25 inches.
 
Care note: rhodochrosite is a soft stone, so keep it away from water, harsh chemicals, and hard knocks. Put these on last, take them off first, and store them flat in a jewelry box or pouch when traveling or not in use.
