Orchid & Pink Pearl Pendant Necklace
Tilt this orchid in the light and the petals go from peach to glowing aqua, like sun coming through shallow water. The gold-edged petals are traced by hand, so the bloom looks outlined in fine gold, and its burgundy center and the delicate veins in the petals are still visible. A real orchid, color enhanced and preserved in resin, hangs from a 14K goldfilled chain. Below it, fine trailing chains carry blush freshwater pearls, with a larger keshi pearl at the top and smaller pearls stepping down to the tip. The chains move when you do, so the pearls catch the light as you walk. It's a statement pendant that still sits lightly, and it looks best against a simple neckline, like a white tee, a black dress, or bare skin. ~17 inches.
Care note: these are delicate botanicals. Keep away from water, heat, and direct sun, don't crush them, and store in a jewelry box when not in use. As a real, organic material, some fading or color change is natural over time and part of the piece's character.
