Lily of the Nile Real Flower Earrings
Lily of the Nile blooms in a cluster of small trumpets, and each bloom flares into narrow petals, every one with a dark violet stripe down its center. Here a single real flower is preserved in resin so the petals stay open like a little fountain, with the delicate stamens still visible at the center. The color is only lightly enhanced, just enough to deepen the periwinkle and give the petals a faint blue-lilac shimmer. At about 1.75 inches on 14K goldfilled hoop ear wires, they're light, they move when you turn your head, and they sit between delicate and noticeable. Wear them with a white top or a denim jacket and the soft blue stands out. Each flower opens a little differently, so your pair will never have an identical twin.
Care note: these are delicate botanicals. Keep away from water, heat, and direct sun, don't crush them, and store in a jewelry box when not in use. As a real, organic material, some fading or color change is natural over time and part of the piece's character.
