Blue Knight Kyanite & Sapphire Pointed Teardrop Earrings

Blue knight kyanite is prized for the streaks running through it, ribbons of teal and deep ocean that look different from every angle. Here a polished kyanite drop hangs in the open center of a hammered 14K goldfilled pointed teardrop frame, while a graduated line of kyanite and blue sapphire beads climbs two sides, each one wrapped in place by hand. The beads start small, swell at the corner and shrink again, so the color pools along the edge like water settling in a tide pool. The frame is open and light, so the blue stays the focus. ~2 inches.
