This means that once you have purchased an item, there is no refund or exchange unless the item is defective. We want you to be happy with your purchase, so please take your time when choosing your jewelry. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Mika Hawaii is hand-crafted small batch jewelry and decor made with 14 K goldfilled , sterling silver, & brass material along with semiprecious gemstones, shells, seaglass, coconut fiber, resin, among other items sourced from around the world, many hand-collected by Elyse herself. All necklaces/rings/earwires are hypoallergenic and can be worn on sensitive skin. MIKA Hawaii is hand-made and delicate, therefor proper care should be taken to prolong the life of each item.
Normal wear and tear is expected with use, but avoiding saltwater, sweat, lotions/perfumes etc. will extend the life of your jewelry. We suggest you remove jewelry when sleeping or sporting activities to prevent losing or damaging your jewelry. Please be sure when transporting or storing your jewelry to also take great care by placing them in a small pouch or box to prevent damage. If your jewelry does get wet, we suggest rinsing with fresh water and gently patting dry with a cloth.
SEAGLASS MOBILE + OCEAN DREAMCATCHER CARE
You can place your seaglass mobile or dreamcatcher just about anywhere your heart desires, however they are handmade and delicate, so care should be taken to extend the life and beauty of each item. They especially look great when placed in a window, patio, bathroom, or even your car rear view mirror (for the mini ones). Over time natural wear and tear will occur especially depending on wear the item is placed. It is suggested to avoid extreme conditions such as direct sun, rain, wind or snow and in the event of bad weather (if placed outside) to remove the item to prevent damage. You can gently dust the item with a cloth (swiffer dusters work great) and polish with a small amount of mineral oil using a q-tip making sure to wipe off any excess oil.
When transporting or shipping your item, it is best to lay flat or hang/hold upright. For shipping, lay them flat in bubble wrap and use tape to prevent extra movement. Place the item in an appropriate sized box and and fill with enough tissue, padding or bubble wrap to essentially jam pack the box so the item cannot move.
Let's face it, sometimes sh*t happens and repairs are needed. MIKA Hawaii is happy to repair/replace your item (if applicable) with a minimum repair fee of $10 on ALL repairs plus any additional costs for materials and time to be determined for each item. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the date of purchase and a photo of the item to be repaired. Shipping and handling is additional and will be added to the final cost determined on a case by case situation (Oahu market drop-off/pick available-inquire within).
MADE TO ORDER
Many MIKA Hawaii items are one of a kind and cannot be replicated, but many others are able to be recreated. For those made to order items, small differences in gemstones, textures, shells, glass, etc. may be present, although we try our best to make each item as close to the original as possible. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks processing time for made to order items. For expedited shipping on made to order items please contact us with your request prior to ordering.

Email email@example.com with your ideas and we can work from there on design, pricing, timeline etc. *Please note that ALL custom orders require a minimum $25 deposit which will be applied towards the final invoice and may require an additional custom order fee to be determined based on the nature of the request.
Finding your correct bangle, ring, or necklace size is just as important as finding the right bangle, ring or necklace.
To find the right bangle or ring size, there are a few options.
1.You can measure the diameter of a bangle or ring you already own. Be sure to measure the center of the bangle/ring and to get an accurate reading.
2. You can use a measuring tape to measure the widest part of your knuckle or wrap around the desired finger to determine the circumference. If you do not have a measuring tape you can use a string and then measure the string using a ruler.
3. You can come to one of the local markets to use MIKA Hawaii's bangle/ring sizer.
To find the right necklace size, the same options can be used.
1. You can measure the length of a necklace you already own.
2. You can use a measuring tape (or string) around your neck to find the desired length.
3. You can come to a local market to get sizing help

MIKA Hawaii items are shipped via USPS. *Please note MIKA Hawaii is NOT responsible for lost, damaged or stolen mail. Shipping insurance is available and recommended. Jewelry orders (up to 4 items) are shipped via First Class package and usually arrives within 1-3 business days from date of shipment. Seaglass mobiles, ocean dreamcatchers, and jewelry orders over 4 items are shipped via Priority Mail and vary in cost depending on the dimensions, weight and destination of the package. Expedited/international shipping and local pickup is available on a case by case basis.
